YOUR ONLINE PRIVACY

Your online security is a top priority. The security architecture for this system allows you to access your accounts via the Internet without having your primary records on the Internet. Your records are accessed via a private communications line, much like an ATM transaction. The Internet Account Access system utilizes the latest encryption and authentication technology.

Security at the PC level includes password protection, a time out feature, cache security, an invalid logins feature, and more. Beyond password protection, Enhanced Login Security adds a powerful layer of protection to shield your accounts from unauthorized access at any computer. It identifies you as the “owner” of your accounts and employs a series of challenge questions as an additional line of defense against unauthorized users. To enroll yourself and your computer in this free feature, go to User Options and select Enhanced Login Security.

Security features that protect the information transfered from your PC to the Internet Banking system include encrypted URL, secure socket layer (SSL) protocol, and public-key cryptography.

Traffic entering the perimeter network, the main network for Web traffic, passes through a filtering/screening router. Finally, the secure network where information related to only Internet Banking travels is protected by a firewall, frame relay, and two filtering/screening routers.

Rest assured, every modern security measure is in place to ensure your online banking safety.
